President Donald Trump on Monday said people in blue cities are “not clean,” matching the “dirty sidewalks” they walk and “terrible smell” from curbs splattered with “you-know-what.”

At a rally in Milford, Michigan, the president prefaced his political hit as if he were about to say something important. He earlier claimed communism in the U.S. is a greater threat than World War I, World War II (including the attack on Pearl Harbor) and the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in New York City. He also praised his off-the-cuff ramblings.

“This is maybe gonna make news because I’ve never said it,” he began.

But the segment devolved into divisive, insulting blather that appeared all too familiar.

“I’m just thinking about it now, when they take something over, it’s always dirty,” he said. “The sidewalks are dirty. The people are, I hate to say this, not clean. OK? The curbs are loaded with you-know-what. The smell is terrible. I mean, I see it happening to cities, blue cities. They’re all blue. They’re all blue. We don’t have problems with the Republican-run cities, I mean, for the most part.

“But they’re dirty,” he continued. “I said to somebody about a certain city. I don’t want to say the name of it, but it’s run by the radical left. I said, ‘How is it doing?’ Because I love it. And they said, ‘It’s filthy dirty. It’s so dirty.’ They’ve never seen it like that. It’s so filthy dirty.”

Trump moved on to claims about his administration’s improvements in Washington, D.C., before resuming his bashing of Democratic politicians.

“They take over, everything becomes disgusting and dirty,” he said. “It’s dirty and filthy and grimy.”

He mentioned “dirty” at least eight times in a short period in case anyone didn’t get his point.

Trump might want to know that a recent report rated 10 states predominantly won by Trump as the worst states to live. And Fox News’ Laura Ingraham wasn’t happy about it.
