Heart energy, Lee Harris says, will be one of the most important things on the planet in the coming decades. The Zs have told him it will become one of the main currencies on earth, and what they mean is this: the people who thrive will be the ones using their heart intelligence, not their mental or egoic intelligence in isolation from the heart. In this conversation, Lee explores what that actually asks of us, and how to begin. When asked how a person can align with benevolent, life-giving impacts, his answer is disarmingly simple: work on love. Identify what love actually feels like in your body, because it is different for everyone. For some it feels like purpose, for others warmth and generosity. Then keep moving toward it, and away from judgment and division. That, he acknowledges, means shedding behaviours we were once trained to see as normal, catching the moment you say something and realise there was not enough love in it, and choosing who you want to be instead. Uncovering the heart, Lee is honest, is real work, not a ten-minute good feeling. He offers a simple daily practice: rate your day out of ten, notice what pulled you away from your heart, whether stress, overwhelm, a draining relationship, or work that saps your soul, and decide one thing you can shift tomorrow. He also offers a gentle reframe for anyone on a long spiritual path who still meets pockets of resistance, places in themselves that quietly refuse to open because it hurts too much. That is normal. The path is not thirty years of effortless peace, it is constant change. And sometimes what looks like resistance is not something to fix at all.
