‘Theatre’ is the right word for the current war in the Middle East. It’s a stage show, but not just for entertainment (if you find that distasteful, be honest – the daily doses of shock-and-awe bombing and Iranian counter-attacks are exciting to the television news audience). The purpose is expropriation.

Keir Starmer, we are informed, is determined to alleviate the cost-of-living crisis inevitably caused by the destruction of oilfields and closure of the Strait of Hormuz. He feels your pain, while performing his part in a scripted fallout with President Trump.

Of course, the former Trilateral Commission appointee knows the real reason for this contrived conflict. As suggested by Kit Knightly on OffGuardian at the outset, this is another giant stride for the Great Reset. The masters of the universe are weaning us off fuel, just as they want to curtail production and distribution of food.

If Starmer was genuinely concerned for the ordinary people struggling to pay their bills, he would allow drilling of our bountiful natural resources in the North Sea. But he and fellow climate change fraudsters want us to pay more at the pumps.

Today’s newspaper headlines warn of petrol rising to £2 per litre (already it has gone up by about 7 pence – enough for producers, wholesalers and retailers to put their prices up).

Whenever a major event occurs nowadays, the first questions that we should ask are: what will be the likely impact, and who will gain from it? The answers, almost always, are higher costs, and more money transferred from the masses to the elite. We are being bled dry.

But surely, you might retort, there are missiles flying and people dying? What about the hundred schoolgirls wiped out by an aerial projectile? What of the seven US servicemen in coffins draped in the Stars and Stripes? And are those expatriate Britons in Dubai trying to get flights out merely imagining that they heard explosions?

None of the video footage can be taken as evidence. AI-generated imagery, alongside false-flag operations by Mossad, could explain the dramatic scenes from Bahrain, Dubai and Qatar. The US military bases in the region, supposedly struck by Iranian drones, remain in use. And Iran itself, for all the depicted visitation of American and Israeli hellfire, is mostly functioning as normal, despite the hubristic threats of Trump and his warlords.
