Whoopi Goldberg turned Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s words against him on Wednesday after he claimed that Iran is facing “real catastrophic,” “generational destruction” to its economy as the U.S.-led war on the country marches on.

“Somebody needs to tell Marco Rubio that there is generational destruction going on here as well,” said Goldberg in a segment on “The View.”

Goldberg teed up a panel discussion on President Donald Trump’s over-two-month-long war, which has cost $25 billion (per a Pentagon estimate) and killed thousands of people, by calling out the administration’s mixed messaging on the conflict.

″[They] still can’t quite figure out what is going on, they don’t know how to get the message out, they don’t know where we are, why we’re there, when it’s going to be over — it’s just crazy,” Goldberg said.

She turned to Americans who have “finally got themselves up above water” financially and are now “sinking down” due to the fallout of the war, which has caused gas prices to rise to a national estimated average of $4.53 a gallon (up by roughly 30 cents from a week ago), per AAA.

“This is on y’all! This is yours!” Goldberg stressed. “You can’t keep going, ‘bye, now,’ this is yours!”

The “View” host proceeded to liken the mixed wartime messages from Trump, Rubio and other top officials to a $400 million topic near and dear to the president: “They don’t even know what the other one is saying, it’s like they’re in separate — it’s like they’re in a giant ballroom.”

She continued, “All kinds of different spaces. What is going on?”

Joy Behar quipped, “It’s like the ‘Three Stooges of the Apocalypse.’”

Goldberg replied, “I want that T-shirt!”
