Legacy media would have us believe that elected President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, was “captured” by US forces. This is nonsense.
More accurately, US forces committed Supreme International Crimes by bombing the sovereign nation of Venezuela in an operation that culminated in the kidnapping of its elected President in the longstanding context of stealing Venezuelan resources and imposing hegemony.(1)
Legacy media would also have us believe that Venezuela is responsible for the scourge of drug abuse in the U.S. Absent from this narrative is the fact that the CIA and the US military has long been implicated in drug trafficking in Afghanistan, in Latin America (including Venezuela) and beyond. (2)
Español, 中文, Portugues, Français, Русский, عربي, Hebrew, Deutsch, Farsi, Italiano, 日本語, 한국어, Türkçe, Српски. And 40 more languages.
.

Not surprisingly, this fabricated pretext for invasion is already falling apart.
.

.
Finally, colonial media would have us believe that Venezuelans are generally supportive of Washington’s crimes. Absent from this narrative and its selected videos are videos showing widespread anger at Washington’s criminality, and demands for the release of Maduro and his wife.
Media that falsifies current and past events in favour of imperial narratives is a disservice to us all. After all, Canada, too, is in Washington’s crosshairs. Prof. Chossudovsky notes in ”President Trump’s Ultimate Intent: The Annexation of Canada, The Annexation of Greenland, the Militarization of the Arctic. Militarization of the Western Hemisphere” that
President Elect Donald Trump had intimated in no uncertain terms that Prime Minister Trudeau should become Governor of the 51st state of the United States of America.
Washington’s international criminality is no joking matter.
