Golly. There are times you almost feel sorry for the scarecrow-looking creature that LAROs as the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz.

ALMOST

All the way back in November, when it had suddenly dawned on Merz that the Syrian civil war had sort of sorted itself out, the fellow who had been an al Qaeda leader who was now the president didn't clean up too badly and even wore a Western suit every now and then, and, hmmmm, maybe just schmaybe, it was time some of these Syrians in Germany got a plane ticket home at long last. He wasted no time suggesting the same.

RAUS MIT EUCH

'Immigrants'  are costing Germans a buttload that they do not have...

German taxpayers bled dry: Mass migration cost €40 billion in 2025

German taxpayers not only paid over €40 billion, but also face higher housing costs, more road traffic, crowded hospitals, growing insecurity, higher insurance premiums, and a host of other ills not officially tracked in this figure

...and that native Germans in need do not receive but pay for, and handsomely.

🇩🇪A tale of two Germanys🇩🇪

🔴The first Germany represents illiterate Syrian migrant Ahmad A. and his 2 wives and 6 children. The entire family received free housing and welfare thanks to German taxpayers.

..."I would to thank Mommy Merkel very, very, very much," he told Spiegel at the time.

When asked how much money he receives every month, he answerd: "I don't know. The money will be transferred. I go to the bank and withdraw it."

Spiegel reporter: "How many children do you want to have?"

Ahmad: "Me? 10, 20, no problem."

Spiegel: "And how many wives?"

Ahmad: "Four. By Allah. Peace be with him."

🔵The second Germany involves 79-year-old Roswitha who raised three children, always worked, and became a bottle collector in her old age.

"For me, every cent I find, even on the street, is worth a lot... I’ve always worked for my money. And I’m not at all ashamed that I’m poor."

These two videos truly sum up the path Germany and the rest of the West has chosen.

There are over a million people of Syrian nationality living in Germany, with over another million who have a Syrian background. It's the largest diaspora of Syrian nationals in one place outside of Syria itself.

They have not been the best of visitors, either, as they tend to be stabby types when they get perturbed, which, judging by the crime statistics, is pretty regularly.

  CULTURAL DIFFERENCES

Germany: Syrians 11 times as violent as Germans, Afghans 14 times more likely to commit sexual offenses as Germans

Syrians tend to be the most prolific of the imported criminals Germany is dealing with.

The German government has disclosed that a total of 135,668 crimes against German victims have been committed by Syrian suspects between 2015 and 2024, amounting to one every 39 minutes over the past 10 years.

The figures, released by the Federal Ministry of the Interior in response to a parliamentary inquiry from the AfD, have reignited the party’s demands for tougher migration controls and deportations.

The data, obtained by Freilich magazine, also shows large numbers of victims of crimes committed by suspects from other countries of origin, including 82,960 linked to Afghanistan, 69,946 to Iraq, 39,918 to Morocco, and 32,383 to Algeria. Altogether, more than 460,000 crimes were recorded in the 10-year period involving suspects from the 10 main countries of origin: Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, and Eritrea.

The German government released these 2025 statistics about crime suspects under age 21. Youths from Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan are the most criminal and most often a suspect.

So when Merz met with the new Syrian president, Ahmed al-Shaara, he did all he could to convince him that now was the time to throw open the doors to his returning countrymen. There were Syrian doctors among the ex-pats, Merz told the former terrorist turned president, who would be very helpful in rebuilding their country.

How about if we ship 80% of what we have here home to you all in Damascus?

Al-Shaara made all the right, 'Oh, we'd love to have them...'sometime' noises...

...Al-Sharaa outlined a vision for a “cycle” allowing Syrians to return home, while those who wish to remain in Germany would be able to work there. He described the new Syria as a constitutional state “for all Syrians — without exception,” emphasizing that the country is “very diverse” and committed to deepening the “rule of law,” pledging to work with Germany “in great transparency.”

...being perfectly clear a few days later that the present wasn't that time and Merz didn't have his number...

The asylum seekers will not be leaving Germany.

Syria’s President clarified that he never said 80% of Syrians in Germany would return home within three years.

...He noted that many have built “new lives” there, making it difficult “to start their life from zero.” He says the only way they're going to return to Syria is if Europe helps thew country to rebuild by investing in it.

...all while a desperate Merz greased the skids with another promise of millions of euros.

Twelve million of them this time.

Two things happened as al-Shaara's hand folded the cash and put (most of it, I'm assuming) it in his state coffers.

Syrians in Germany decided they were pretty happy in Germany - being taken care of by the state hand over fist can be addictive. So they weren't going to leave.

The second thing was Merz's deportation plans for at least 11,000 of them have been derailed by the Syrian government not issuing the paperwork, like passports and such things, to take these Syrians back.

The deportation of Syrian citizens from Germany has been virtually paralyzed despite the political announcements made by Berlin in recent months. A key reason is that Damascus has stopped issuing replacement travel documents for Syrian nationals facing deportation.

According to recently published information, since the end of January no German federal state has received the type of documentation required to carry out forced returns of individuals lacking valid passports or complete identity documents. These replacement documents are an essential requirement in deportation procedures. Without them, authorities may face serious legal and operational difficulties in carrying out returns even when a final deportation order exists.

German federal authorities have not officially confirmed the blockage, although they have not denied it either.

The issue currently affects around 11,000 Syrian citizens who are under an immediate legal obligation to leave Germany, according to data from the German Federal Police.

It almost makes you think they don't want them back.

...Syria refuses to issue documents so that Syrians can be deported. Meanwhile, the Islamists in Damascus gladly accept German money. At least 1.35 billion euros have flowed to Syria since the fall of Assad.

Al-Shaara hasn't written a refund, either.

Say...you think this guy might not be on the level?

DEPORTATION SCANDAL: 200 Million Euro to Syria - for zero deportations of criminals! | Christian Jung

On March 30, Friedrich Merz promised the Syrian government 200 million euro and simultaneously asked (!) that Syria take back Syrian criminals. Result: Since the end of January, Syria has indeed been accepting German money but no longer receiving Syrian criminals. Passports are simply not being issued.

Merz is in panic mode, and Alice Weidel, whose Alternative for Germany Party (AfD) is currently polling at 42% in upcoming regional elections in East Germany, is on the attack. She does have a pretty helpful suggestion, though.

Seit Ende Januar wurde kein einziger Syrer abgeschoben. So viel zur von „Außenkanzler“ Merz großspurig angekündigten 80%-Rückkehrerquote. Politisches Totalversagen. Ohne massenhafte Rücknahme: Kein Cent deutsches Steuergeld mehr für Syrien! https://t.co/k3hupNeawG

— Alice Weidel (@Alice_Weidel) May 21, 2026

...Since the end of January, not a single Syrian has been deported. So much for the boastful 80% returnee quota announced by "Foreign Minister" Merz. Political total failure. Without mass repatriation: Not one cent of German taxpayers' money for Syria anymore!

Cut the money off.

I'd start at home.
