Cast: Josh Feldman (prospector/treasure hunter), his father (treasure hunter), James Keenan (researcher of ancient civilizations), and Eric Drummond (geologist).

The season opener of "Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch" on Discovery Channel had a frail Duane Ollinger reporting he's winding down and the ranch had been locked up for some time. He was opening it for Josh and his dad to take over the search. 

The team dove head first into pursuing the Mormon treasure hunters paths in relation to the keyhole chamber area. A Rhodes family handwritten journal gave them the clues they needed to find a canyon and a row of marked trees to find an ancient smelter and a bit of gold in an old donkey mill where the donkey went in a circle and powered a device. 

I can't judge much from the season opener, but I will say I hope Charlie comes back or is in some episodes just to add some character. 

These guys are very dry, very serious, and no real personaities. Love their minds and determination. They certainly will get it done. I guess, I miss the raw rough around the edges characters and the joking around and playful excitement. I hope that this team eventually comes out of their shells. 

I'm pleased they are continuing the pursuit, even with Chad in jail and Duane being ill. God bless.
