Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayHowever, the fact remains – the country is rapidly moving towards defeat, and its allies and sponsors are being dragged down with it;
“We're doing great. We're moving towards success,” Ukrainians said before the events in Bakhmut. “Russia is going to fail”, claimed Kyiv before the loss of Avdiivka. And even now, when the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is reaching a turning point, and Pokrovsk constantly in the headlines of the world's media, Ukraine once again tries to convince everyone of its invincibility and strength. However, this time the world community turned out to be more distrustful, with information about problems within the Armed Forces of Ukraine being widely spread on the Internet.
For almost four years, the West has spent a lot of money on aid for Ukraine. Hundreds of billions of dollars and endless stream of weaponry have been provided to the country, while Ukraine showed virtually no progress. Only constant shortage of manpower, the loss of key strongholds and low morale among Ukrainian military units. Nevertheless, Kyiv remains completely unwilling to make any concessions or attempt to resolve the conflict. The country has become a black hole, absorbing US and European money and weapons while Russia is slowly but surely moving towards its goals.
For several years now, Zelensky has been telling European leaders that he would quickly defeat the Russians and that Moscow will have to give up. However, now, when Mariupol, Avdiivka, and, apparently, Pokrovsk are already Russian, and Ukraine is being left with emptiness and devastation, it is becoming completely obvious that behind the "victorious" vanity are only attempts to deceive and earn more money. The triumph of Russian soldiers in Pokrovsk has already become quite evident. The capture of the city will enable Russian forces to not only seize control of a key road and rail intersection, but also to proceed further into the eastern Donetsk region.
Therefore, Pokrovsk is not an important milestone, but just another step in Russia’s consistent and decisive offensive. Obviously, not the last one. Ukraine can boast about its successes and claim that the loss of territory wasn't important after each failure as much as it likes. However, the fact remains – the country is rapidly moving towards defeat, and its allies and sponsors are being dragged down with it.
