Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayFBI Director Kash Patel completely tore into a bombshell report cited in an op-ed published by the New York Post earlier this week, detailing various issues at the bureau under his leadership, calling him “in over his head” and his deputy, Dan Bongino, “something of a clown.”
The 115-page report compiled by multiple anonymous internal sources described the FBI under Patel as a “rudderless ship” and “all f–ked up,” slamming his professionalism, claiming he is “spending too much time on social media and public relations.”
Patel slammed the overall report on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” Tuesday, saying, “These anonymous sources were individuals from the Comey-Wray era that weaponized the Department of Justice and cratered the public trust in the FBI to something that was at levels that has never been seen.”
One damning incident included in the report described Patel on Sept. 11, the day after conservative podcaster Charlie Kirk was assassinated while speaking in Utah. Patel flew in to assist in the investigation, but “would not disembark from the plane without an FBI raid jacket.”
“Patel apparently did not have his own FBI raid jacket with him and refused to step from the plane without wearing one,” the report, citing a highly respected agent, read.
FBI agents who were working on Kirk’s case “had to stop and ask around to find an FBI raid jacket — a medium-sized one — that would fit,” and eventually Patel was given a jacket belonging to a female agent.
However, according to the report, the FBI director complained that “two areas on the upper sleeves did not have Velcro patches attached” and refused to leave the plane until those areas were patched, prompting agents to remove their own to loan to him.

Patel denied the claim about his jacket, telling Ingraham that “it’s 100% false” and that, at the time, one of his agents handed him a jacket in Utah and said, “Hey, boss, you should probably wear this. We’re going to the command center.”
“I said I’d be honored to wear that, and then another one handed me the SWAT team badge of the unit that was protecting the area where Charlie was assassinated,” Patel said. “I wore that with pride.”
Patel has also come under fire for using a $60 million FBI jet to go see his girlfriend, 27-year-old Alexis Wilkins, perform in Pennsylvania, but defended it by stating he is not allowed to fly commercially before slamming his predecessors.
“I’ve also used the airplane less than my prior two predecessors, and yes, I’m entitled to a personal life, just like my other agency-head counterparts with their partners,” Patel said. “So do I support my girlfriend? Absolutely. And do I take trips with her? Absolutely.”
