Orgo-Life the new way to the future

Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday gave President Donald Trump a lesson in recent history ― and he did so in a backhanded response to Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr, a key MAGA ally.

Kimmel was briefly pulled off the air last year after threats by Carr, who was appointed to his position by Trump, over comments he made about the suspect in the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Now, Carr is urging broadcasters to run content that “promotes civic education, national pride and our shared history.”

Kimmel said he’s ready to help.

“Even though he tried to get me fired, I have taken the commissioner’s words to heart,” Kimmel said, then introduced his latest “This Day in American History” segment.

This installment included a reminder of what Secretary of State Marco Rubio said about his future boss exactly 10 years ago.

“I will never stop until we keep a con man from taking over the party of Reagan and the conservative movement,” Rubio said. “He’s a con man.”

Rubio and Trump were bitter rivals during the 2016 Republican presidential primary.

Trump mocked Rubio as “Little Marco,” and dismissed him as a “lightweight” and a “choker.” Trump also mocked Rubio for sweating, calling it “disgusting” and saying it showed he was a “nervous basket case.”

After Trump won the presidency, however, Rubio became a key ally in the Senate — something Trump rewarded when he returned to the White House by picking him to be secretary of state.
