If people’s votes were proportionate to the number of MPs elected none of this would be necessary and Starmer would not have won a massive majority when two-thirds of the electorate voted for someone else. I don’t vote for masks ultimately on the same face, but at least make a vote count for something at the ballot box for those that do. Two-thirds voting against you while securing total control of Parliament is having a laugh. Now we have an unelected Prime Minister with the same Labour majority that two-thirds voted against. It’s called ‘democracy’ they tell me.
