A year ago, I would have had no inclination in my wildest dreams of saving the Democrat Party. However, the party of my father and of my youth needs to be saved from something many magnitudes worse: communism.

For more than 100 years, communists in America have been calling themselves progressives, socialists, democratic socialists (an oxymoron), and, of course, Democrats. Until 2008, these closet communists knew that communism would never sell in the United States as communism. It still won’t sell unless they pretend it is something else. Hence, Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). A rose by any other name is still a rose. A communist by any other name is still a communist.

Members of the Democrat Party have an existential choice to make for their party, allow the DSA to totally infect and gobble up the Democrat Party and become a communist, or use common sense and side with the Republican Party to crush the communist effort to “fundamentally change America” forever. More important to you is to crush the communist effort to consume your old Democrat Party. Remember the enemy of my enemy is my friend, at least for a while.

It was the closet communist hate mongers hiding in the closet of the Democrat Party that propagated the hate paradigm (Bush Derangement Syndrome and Trump Derangement Syndrome) who have driven Democrats toward communism. That is the very antithesis of the culture the Founding Fathers established.

So, old school Democrats, let common sense and your conscience be your guide, ally with Republicans and crush communism to save the Democrat Party or become a communist. I believe America will once again reject communism as it has already done three times. But then what happens to the old Democrat Party?
