Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayPolitical commentator Debra Lea was accused of embracing “delusion” on Fox News after she fawned over President Donald Trump’s tense speech. (Watch the video below.)
The right-wing personality, whom Trump called “great” after a previous Fox News appearance, gave the gush of gushes in her analysis. She called his remarks on Wednesday “kind,” “calm” and “compassionate.”
If lying about the economy, attacking the Biden administration, making misleading comments about tariffs and grossly exaggerating drug price reductions is considered kind, she’d be spot-on.
“Donald Trump was so kind, he was so calm,” she said. “I think that it was one of the more powerful and just engaging speeches that he’s given in a very long time.”
Lea accused the mainstream media of falsely reporting that the economy is bad, defended Trump’s widely scorned tariff strategy, claimed he didn’t shout (he did, according to even a conservative outlet) and praised Trump’s announced $1,776 bonus checks to military members (although Congress approved them months ago).
“God bless President Trump,” she said. “It was a very kind and compassionate speech.”
Lea, a staunchly pro-Israel pundit and influencer who attended the White House Hanukkah party this week, prefaced her remarks on Wednesday with a bizarre dig at Democrats.
“I think we all know to be true that if Donald Trump spent that entire address to the nation listing all the childhood cancers that he’s cured, or anything of the sort, anything that’s good and kind, the Democrats would still find a way to attack him and make him sound like a crazy man,” she said.
Lea perhaps wasn’t truly crediting Trump with curing children’s cancer. But even if she were just trying to make a point, that wouldn’t be the way.
His administration has been accused of “killing” cancer research by the hundreds of millions of dollars.
Critics pushed back at Lea’s dubious praise of the president.
“Is delusion contagious?” one person asked.

Trump is such a kind man - just ask the Reiner family.
