Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) dropped the hammer on Dr. Anthony Fauci during Wednesday’s Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing on the federal government’s catastrophic COVID response, waving a massive stack of papers in the disgraced former NIAID director’s face and exposing one of the most brazen lies of the pandemic.

Johnson zeroed in on Fauci’s August 29, 2021 CNN appearance where the so-called “science” declared there was “no evidence” ivermectin was helpful against COVID.

“You said there’s no evidence that ivermectin is helpful,” Johnson said. “On that exact same day… There was a website that was tracking the randomized controlled studies. Here they are showing 60, 70% efficacy of ivermectin. The same day you say there’s no evidence. There was all kinds of evidence.”

Johnson didn’t stop there. He pressed Fauci on whether he was involved in the FDA’s coordinated attack on the Nobel Prize-winning drug, and on the parallel sabotage of hydroxychloroquine, because the only way to secure emergency use authorization for the experimental mRNA shots was to claim no effective treatments existed.

Johnson: Loved ones had to go to hospitals, had to sue hospitals. Just, “Would you try it?” So I would want to know, to what extent were you involved in sabotaging hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin? And did you do that because you knew the only way you could get emergency use authorization for these experimental gene therapies was if there was no effective treatment? You couldn’t get the emergency use authorization. So is that why you helped sabotage these cheap generic drugs in favor of Remdesivir, which, by the way, nurses—are you aware of the fact that nurses called it “Run, Death Is Near”?

After the confrontation, Fauci declined to answer the question, stating: “On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment.”

The Gateway Pundi has been covering this for years. There are now 106 Ivermectin COVID-19 controlled studies showing a 62% lower risk of early treatment in COVID-19 patients.

The chart, titled “Ivermectin for COVID-19 – 106 studies with more than 200,000 patients,” claimed that pooled data from randomized controlled trials and observational studies showed significant reductions in mortality, hospitalization, ICU admission, viral clearance, and other serious COVID-19 outcomes among patients treated with ivermectin.

Johnson argued that this type of evidence was publicly available on the very day Fauci asserted there was “no evidence” that ivermectin was effective, calling the statement demonstrably false.
