Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former aide to President Donald Trump in his first term, slammed conservatives’ “disturbing” reactions on Thursday after a federal immigration agent shot and killed a mother of three in her vehicle in Minnesota.

The co-host of “The View” emphasized that the punishment for evading law enforcement in America “is not death.” She expressed her disgust with the “mad dash to confirm one’s partisan opinion” within minutes of video surfacing of the shooting that killed 37-year-old Minneapolis resident Renee Nicole Good.

“I saw people on the right just repeatedly just putting out the same video — that I saw something very different with my own eyes — but it needed to fit their partisan narrative, it needed to back the jersey that they wear,” Griffin said.

Republicans have slammed Good in the wake of the deadly shooting. Trump took to his social media platform to accuse her of being “very disorderly” and behaving “horribly” while Vice President JD Vance claimed that Good was “a deranged leftist” who tried to run the agent over with her vehicle.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem claimed that the shooting was in response to “an act of domestic terrorism.” DHS, in a social media post, described Good as a “violent rioter.”

“When did we become a country that a woman my age and a mother of three is killed ... and our first thought is, ‘How do I make this a win for the party I vote with?’” said Griffin, a 36-year-old who is pregnant with her first child.

“I find it sickening.”

Griffin added that she found it “noteworthy” that Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, initially broke from Noem’s defense of the shooting.

Homan told CBS Evening News host Tony Dokoupil on Wednesday that it’d be “unprofessional” to comment on the shooting and to let an investigation “play out.”

He later walked back on his stance, claiming that the shooting was “another tragic example of the results of the hateful rhetoric and violent attacks” against federal immigration agents.

“It makes this a tinder box in a moment that is not right,” Griffin said.
