“Operation Epic Fury” has been widely mocked online as a “stupid” and “childish” title that critics suggested sounds like it was dreamt up by a young kid, they vented on X, formerly Twitter.
U.S. forces launched major combat strikes on Iran on Saturday, killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and dozens of senior leaders, according to officials.
The U.S. has destroyed nine Iranian warships, Trump said.
Three U.S. troops have been killed and five seriously wounded.
Trump has indicated the attacks could continue for up to a month.
