The “Daily Show” host Michael Kosta isn’t impressed with Donald Trump’s reported plan to make his Washington, D.C., arch 250 feet high. (Watch the video below.)

The Washington Post reported recently that the president is leaning toward those specifications, which would tower above the White House and Lincoln Memorial while obstructing pedestrian views.

The newspaper noted that the scale alarmed some architectural experts.

“Get excited, people, Trump is building Washington, D.C.’s hottest suicide destination!” Kosta quipped. “It’s never good when the architectural experts use the word ‘alarmed.’ And secondly, do we need the world’s biggest arch? This is how you can tell Trump doesn’t live with Melania full-time because this is one of those ideas men have when they’re home alone for too long.”

He continued, “Whenever my wife goes away, two days into her trip, I’m like, actually, you know, we do need a skate park in this living room.”

Kosta pointed out that Trump’s idea basically copies the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. So the comedian figured that as long as Trump is imitating France, “How about socialized health care?”
