Comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli has appeared in court charged with rape.

The broadcaster, 56, has also been accused of an offence relating to domestic abuse.

Kohli made no plea to the two charges when he appeared before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.

He was granted bail ahead of his next court appearance, which is yet to be determined.

Kohli was born in London before moving to Glasgow as a young boy.

He has appeared on multiple TV shows, including Celebrity MasterChef, Celebrity Big Brother, The One Show and The Wright Stuff.
