Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayUnion Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday asserted that West Bengal will have a BJP government in 2026, promising a transformation from what he described as “fear, corruption and misgovernance” to good governance.
Addressing press in Kolkata, Shah said the people of Bengal have resolved to embrace change and development under the BJP.
Shah alleged that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is “abetting infiltration of Bangladeshis for electoral gain.”
He added that the BJP will not only identify infiltrators but also take steps to “drive them out,” emphasizing that the party aims to stop infiltration from eastern borders once in power.
Shah also slammed the state government for obstructing border security measures, claiming that the fencing of the Bangladesh border could not be completed because the West Bengal administration has refused to provide land.
Reiterating BJP’s commitment to Bengal’s development, Shah said, “BJP will ensure the revitalisation of Bengal, bringing good governance and progress to the state.”
